Foundation – Get Found
Make the important parts of your online presence work together
Customers can find your business through Google, a social page, a recommendation or your website. If those places show incomplete information or lead to a difficult enquiry route, even a good business can be harder to understand and contact.
Foundation – Get Found brings the agreed essentials into one practical project, based on what the business actually needs.

When one improvement is not enough
The problem is not always one missing profile or one website page. Several smaller gaps may be working against each other:
- Important business information differs between public places
- A Google Business Profile is incomplete or does not explain the services clearly
- Customers have no simple way to leave a genuine review
- A phone number, message route or form is difficult to find or use
- A Facebook Page or Business WhatsApp setup is missing where it would genuinely help
- The website and public profiles do not lead customers towards the same next step
Foundation is for situations where correcting a useful combination of these essentials makes more sense than treating each small task as an unrelated job.
What Foundation may include
Depending on the starting position, the agreed work may include:
- Setting up or improving a Google Business Profile within the normal service boundaries
- Checking that approved business names, contact details, hours, service areas and website links are consistent
- Reviewing a small number of relevant public business listings and correcting agreed priorities where access and platform rules allow
- Setting up a straightforward way to request genuine customer reviews without incentives or pressure
- Setting up or improving Business WhatsApp or a Facebook Page where it provides a useful customer route
- Improving agreed enquiry routes between the website, profiles, phone, messaging and email
- Providing practical handover notes and next-step recommendations
The work is selected, not bundled automatically
Not every Foundation project includes every item. The proposal names the actual listings, platforms and work rather than hiding them behind technical terms.
What will be included in your project?
The starting position is reviewed before the work is agreed. You then receive a written proposal listing the exact tasks, platforms, responsibilities and fixed price.
These are examples, not fixed bundles. Work is included because it is useful for the business, not simply to make the package look larger.
Example starting point
A business may need its Google profile, review route and contact options improved.
Another starting point
Another may already have a useful Google profile but need consistent business information, Business WhatsApp and clearer links from an existing website.
How Foundation differs from the other services
The right service depends on whether you need one focused improvement, a deeper review, a new website or several connected changes.
Google Business Profile help
Choose this when the main need is straightforward setup or improvement on Google Search and Maps. Foundation is more suitable when Google is only one part of a wider set of connected problems.
Online Presence Audit
An audit provides a deeper review, prioritised findings and an action plan. It does not normally implement the recommendations. Foundation includes the specific implementation tasks agreed in its proposal.
Local Business Website
Foundation may improve links, contact routes or small agreed details on an existing website, but it does not include a new website.
What you will need to do
You know the real business, so you will need to help keep the work accurate. You will normally need to:
- Provide or confirm the approved business name, services, areas, hours and contact information
- Use business-controlled accounts and provide suitable delegated access where available
- Retain control of passwords, security codes and account recovery details
- Complete platform verification through your own account, device or premises where required
- Provide genuine images, information or supporting evidence requested by a platform
- Review and approve important public information and proposed changes
- Confirm that supplied words, images and contact information may be used
- Respond within the agreed timescale when a platform or project decision needs your input
Ember Harbour will explain the steps and can guide you through access or verification where appropriate. Information supplied to a platform must be genuine, and the platform’s decision cannot be guaranteed.
Your accounts and information remain under your control
Important business accounts should normally be owned and recoverable by your business. Where a platform supports roles or delegated access, Ember Harbour should be invited with the smallest level needed for the agreed work rather than being given your password.
If temporary Ember Harbour management is needed, the proposal must record who owns the account, what access is being used and when control or access will be handed back. Ongoing management is separate and must be agreed and priced rather than assumed.
At handover, you will be shown what changed, what you control and what routine tasks remain. Unnecessary Ember Harbour access should be removed when the agreed work is complete.
What is not included automatically
Foundation does not automatically include:
- A new website or substantial website rebuild
- A complete Online Presence Audit or competitor report
- Google Business Profile suspension recovery, ownership disputes or difficult verification
- Submission to every available directory or listing site
- Broad social-media management or ongoing replies and posting
- Paid advertising
- Professional photography or extensive copywriting
- Weekly content or indefinite monitoring
- Guaranteed rankings, reviews, traffic or enquiries
- Ongoing care after the agreed handover
Additional work can be considered where it is suitable, but it requires a separate written plan and price. A platform may reject, delay or alter information, and Ember Harbour cannot guarantee a platform’s decision or search position.
How the work normally proceeds
Each step keeps the agreed work, account control and handover clear.
1
Review the starting position
Identify the connected gaps that are most likely to matter to customers.
2
Agree the useful combination
List the exact platforms, tasks, responsibilities, exclusions and fixed price in writing.
3
Put account control in the right place
Confirm ownership and arrange suitable access without unnecessary password sharing.
4
Complete the agreed improvements
Work through the approved business information, profile, review, listing and enquiry tasks.
5
Check the connections
Test important links and contact routes and confirm that the visible information is consistent.
6
Explain and hand over
Review what changed, provide the agreed guidance and remove access that is no longer needed.
Timings depend on the agreed work, client information, account access and any platform verification or review.
Starting price and payments
Foundation – Get Found starts from £595.
The final fixed price depends on the number and condition of the agreed platforms, access, the amount of information to prepare and the implementation work required.
Typical price: £595–£995.
Normal one-off projects require 50% before booking or starting. The remaining 50% must clear before final handover.
Approved third-party costs are paid in advance. Work outside the accepted plan requires written approval and an additional price.
